Attorney Profile

Julian L. Padilla is a trial attorney with trial experience in multiple areas of law. 

Julian received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University (Newark), where he studied Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Political Science. While attending Rutgers, Julian worked for the United States Department of the Treasury. 

Julian obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from Rutgers School of Law – Newark. As a law student Julian took advantage of the unique opportunities that were available to students who wanted practical experience. He enrolled in numerous practical skills courses and took part in the Rutgers Law Bankruptcy Pro Bono Project, where he worked alongside experienced attorneys to file Chapter 7 petitions for indigent clients. 

Julian also had the opportunity to represent clients while attending law school as a Rutgers Law Civil Justice Clinic Clinical Law Student. There, Julian practiced under the supervision and direction of Jon C. Dubin, Esq., professor, Associate Dean for Clinical Education, and Alfred C. Clapp Public Service Scholar at the Rutgers School of Law – Newark. 

During his time at the clinic, Julian represented indigent clients seeking to appeal a denial of Social Security Disability benefits. He also filed a request for Appeal Council review and handled a case that would later be heard in the Third Circuit of the Federal Court. 

After law school, Julian worked at a renowned personal injury law firm in Essex County. While there, Julian was able to work closely with, and was mentored by, the Senior Managing Partner, a Certified Civil Trial Attorney that is of high regard and respected throughout New Jersey. Julian handled various personal injury matters, including auto accidents, slip and falls, workplace injuries, dog bites, and medical malpractice. Within his first week of work as an attorney, Julian was afforded the opportunity to try his first case in the Superior Court, which resulted in a jury verdict award for the firm’s client. 

Julian went on to become an Associate at the The Cintron Firm, LLC., a general practice law firm. While at The Cintron Firm, Julian had the opportunity to learn from a highly regarded and distinguished attorney, Mark J Cintron, Esq., Managing Partner and Founder of The Cintron Firm, LLC. In addition to being the Managing Partner of The Cintron Firm, Mr. Cintron also serves as prosecutor in multiple municipalities through out the State. 

With Mr. Cintron’s guidance, Julian was able to learn and gain invaluable experience, both in and out of the court room, in practice areas; including but not limited to criminal defense (Municipal Court and Superior Court), civil litigation, traffic, DWI, debt collection, drug offense, domestic violence, and landlord-tenant disputes.
